Engineering Philosophy

Design for Scalability

Architecture must support 10x growth without complete rewrites. Stateless services and horizontal scaling are non-negotiable.

Prefer Event-Driven

Decouple systems via message brokers. Eventual consistency is often an acceptable trade-off for high availability.

Build Idempotent Workflows

Systems will fail. Every operation must be safely retriable without causing duplicate state or unintended side effects.

Optimize for Latency

Milliseconds matter. Use in-memory data structures, optimize query plans, and minimize network hops.
